December Updates from Shakespeare Anyone?

Shakespeare Anyone?

A re-cap of our past month!

Happy almost 2026! We hope that your end of 2025 has been filled with joy.

This month, we got to wrap up production for the year and enjoy a slower end of the month once all episodes were recorded and scheduled for release. We also were able to re-do our Twelfth Night: Wrap-Up episode since the majority of our original episode was lost due to audio issues. It was so much fun to revisit what we watched 4 years ago and finally share our thoughts on these productions with you.

This is a special time of year for us at Shakespeare Anyone?. In just a few days, on January 6, the podcast will officially turn five years old!

In celebration, we are giving all new Patreon patrons 50% off of their first month of membership of any paid tier with code HBD5 now until the end of January. Patreon patrons receive access to ad-free versions of our regular episodes as well as bonus content throughout the year. Click here to see the tiers!

We've also quietly launched some new merch over the past few months...here's a sneak peek but you should check out the store for more.

A notepad of white paper featuring a design inspired by Shakespeare's First Folio sits on a desk near a keyboard, a potted plant, paper clips, and pencils a hardcover notebook featuring the contents page from Shakespeare's First Folio is on top of a green, spiral-bound notebook. Both notebooks are on a table.
a lime green beanie with the word "bard" embroidered on the cuff in a black sans serif font a navy crewneck sweatshirt featuring the words "rosemary, pansies, fennel, columbines, rue, daisy" printed in a column on the right side of the chest. The words are printed in white in a cursive handwriting font.

Shakespeare Anyone? Podcast

We are two Shakespeare nerds who decided to make a podcast about our love for Shakespeare. In this podcast, we will tackle as many dimensions to Shakespeare’s plays as we can by looking at the text and how the text is viewed through modern lenses of feminism, racism, classism, colonialism, nationalism… all the-isms. We will discuss how his plays shaped both the past and present. And, as actors, we will look at how his work was performed throughout various periods of time. All while trying our best to approach his works without giving in to bardolatry. So...Shakespeare Anyone?
