What we've been up to all February

This has been a busy month! January felt so long, but February feels like it barely started when it is already the end of the month.
We have some exciting things happening behind the scenes. Earlier this week, we recorded an episode with Stephanie and Mike from Protest Too Much Podcast, a Shakespeare showdown podcast. The last time we were guests on their pod was back in 2022, where we debated with Stephanie over the most impactful death in Shakespeare and debated other Shakespeare podcasters about which character would be the best podcast host. The P2M team has also included us in their episode on their favorite Shakespeare podcasts!
It was a lot of fun to catch up and reconnect with them. If you are ever in Austin, Texas, we recommend checking out their theatre company, Walking Shadow Shakespeare Project. The episode we recorded with them should be out in about a month.
Are you a teacher or do you know teachers who teach or want to teach Shakespeare?
We are still looking to hear from teachers about the obstacles educators face when teaching Shakespeare in the classroom and learn what would help educators most. If you are an educator, we'd greatly appreciate it if you could help us out by completing this survey.
If you know teachers who might be interested in taking the survey, please feel free to forward it to them!

Over on Patreon...
Over on our Patreon, this month we are sharing some behind-the-scenes info on episodes from the past few months and will be sharing a bonus episode about Grand Theft Hamlet. It may be our favorite Shakespeare-adjacent piece of media we've watched or read for a Patreon bonus episode so far.

Shakespeare Anyone? Podcast
a podcast about Shakespeare...minus the bardolatry
We are two Shakespeare nerds who decided to make a podcast about our love for Shakespeare. In this podcast, we will tackle as many dimensions to Shakespeare’s plays as we can by looking at the text and how the text is viewed through modern lenses of feminism, racism, classism, colonialism, nationalism… all the-isms. We will discuss how his plays shaped both the past and present. And, as actors, we will look at how his work was performed throughout various periods of time. All while trying our best to approach his works without giving in to bardolatry. So...Shakespeare Anyone?
