Welcome to 2026! It's been an exciting month as we officially celebrated the podcast's 5th birthday! Here's a photo of us on the first day of recording the podcast in 2020 and a recent session at the end of 2025.
We have also been working on some projects behind-the-scenes. First up: we've done a little redesign on our website!

Over on Patreon...
Over on our Patreon, this month we are trying an early modern cake recipe that was traditionally served as part of the Twelfth Night holiday festivities.
We also launched a new benefit for Gentry, Noble, and Royal Patron members: the ability to be part of the pod and contribute their own random Shakespeare quote at the end of a future episode.
P.S. There's only a few days left to get 50% off of your first month of membership of any paid tier with code HBD5. Patreon patrons receive access to ad-free versions of our regular episodes as well as bonus content throughout the year. Click here to join!

Shakespeare Anyone? Podcast
a podcast about Shakespeare...minus the bardolatry
We are two Shakespeare nerds who decided to make a podcast about our love for Shakespeare. In this podcast, we will tackle as many dimensions to Shakespeare’s plays as we can by looking at the text and how the text is viewed through modern lenses of feminism, racism, classism, colonialism, nationalism… all the-isms. We will discuss how his plays shaped both the past and present. And, as actors, we will look at how his work was performed throughout various periods of time. All while trying our best to approach his works without giving in to bardolatry. So...Shakespeare Anyone?
